Know Grow Serve
At Good Shepherd Haitian Alliance Church, we understanding the importance of developing a sound curriculum for Christian education based on the Word of God. When it comes to biblical knowledge and education, we put a premium to educate our congregation in multiple ways. We have a curriculum for online bible study and other one for live education. In addition, we are using an adaptive curriculum for our Sunday school.
Simply, we should read and study the Bible because it is God's word to us. 2 Timothy 3:16 states that the Bible is "inspired of God." In other words, it is the Word of God for us. There are so many questions that philosophers and others arise which God has already answered for us in Scripture. What is the meaning of life? Where do I come from? Are there life after death? How am I going to heaven? Why is it the world full of evil? Why is it so hard to make me good? In addition to these "big" questions, the Bible gives plenty of practical advice in areas such as: What do I look for in a partner? How to live a successful marriage? How to be a good friend? How to be a good parent? What is success and how to get it? How can I change? What really matters in life? How can I live not to have to look back with regret? How can I please God? How can I forgive? How can I manage successfully the unjust circumstances and unhappy life events.
We are currently laying the foundation of our beliefs and what we stand for in this ever changing environment. We are studying the church and its mission in the context of today's technology and knowledge age. We are also involved in educating our people on the importance of local and world evangelism in the assignment of the great commission.
